Conche Radio was a celebration and ended with a kitchen party.
Link here to photos from the event.
During the event we received lots of FaceBook messages
saying people were listening to the webcast.
If you have a message about the event,
please post on Joan's FaceBook.
People also posted music to play on air.
In fact, on the last night 84 households were listening to the webcast
- not bad for a community of 85 homes.
Conche Radio 103 FM was a collaboration of the The French Shore Historical
Association and Memorial University - Grenfell Campus.
The broadcast celebrated the French heritage of Conche and the opening
of the French Shore Cultural centre for the 2011 season.
The purpose of this website was to provide a link to the webcast
of the FM broadcast from the French Shore Interpretation Centre May 9 and 10.
Conche Radio plans to broadcast each day from 9 p.m. to 9 p.m.
